Designed with a modular design construction, the Hackney Trench shifts effortlessly between full length, cropped, or half-zipped silhouettes thanks to it's double ended metal zipper feature. Giving you multiple ways to wear a single piece while keeping the character of the original vintage trench.

FIT

  • Naturally oversized with a soft yet structured drape

  • Silver zipper mid-section allows you to adjust the length and shape

  • Can be worn full length, cropped, or partially unzipped for a more directional look

  • Works across multiple sizes due to its relaxed cut. We reccomend from a size UK6 to UK12 to opt for XS-S and from a UK14 to UK18 to go for M-L

MATERIAL

  • Crafted in London from upcycled vintage navy trench coats

  • Soft cotton hand feel with enough structure to hold the silhouette

  • Modular zipper panel and original trench detailing preserved

  • Every piece is entirely unique and may vary slightly from what is pictured

 

This jacket is oversized and comes in a range. If you are between a size UK6 and UK10 we would recommend XS-S and between a UK UK12 and UK16 we woulod reccomend going for M-L.

Denim

  • Denim ages better when it’s washed less; damage comes from overwashing, not overwearing. Plus, you can save over 2,000 litres of water per year by washing once a month as opposed to once a week.
  • Close zips or buttons and turn your sustainable denim jacket inside out before washing.
  • Use a damp cloth to spot clean and remove small stains in between washes, helping to keep your luxury denim jacket looking fresh. 
  • Freeze your jacket instead of washing it to kill odour-producing germs.
  • Steam your jacket as another energy-efficient way to kill odour-producing bacteria instead of washing.
  • Wash at 30°C maximum. Prefer to hand wash? Use cold to lukewarm water, a mild detergent and leave your jacket to soak for 45 minutes. Then rinse. 
  • Flatten, reshape and hang your jacket to air dry. We do not advise using a tumble dryer for our denim pieces.
  • Dry naturally in the shade or indoors, avoiding direct sunlight, as this can fade denim.

  • Cold wash or dry clean at a local eco-friendly dry cleaner.

Please let us know when you are planning to collect as we are sometimes out rescuing jeans from landfill.

We want your E.L.V. DENIM jeans to last a lifetime. That’s why we offer a repairs and minor alterations service to all our customers.

Our free service includes minor waist adjustments, hem cropping and small mending.

We’re here for major alterations and repairs, too, but we do charge for these. Whether it’s a full-leg panel replacement or taking in and taking out, we can breathe new life into your beloved E.L.V. DENIM favourites and make your jeans live on.
