Introducing the Roan Jeans - a standout silhouette handcrafted in London from 100% upcycled vintage denim. Featuring E.L.V. DENIM’s signature contrast cut and an exclusive ruched seam detail, Roan offers a completely new shape to your denim rotation. Each pair is entirely one-of-a-kind, redefining what it means to wear artfully reconstructed jeans.

FIT

Designed to sit at the mid waist with a relaxed fit through the leg and a subtle taper at the ankle.
The ruched outer seam adds volume and structure, creating a sculptural drape that elongates the leg.

  • Take your usual size for a more relaxed look 

  • Size down for a more structured look at the high waist 

  • Cali is 5'7” and wears size 26

MATERIAL

  • Made from two pairs of vintage jeans, fully upcycled

  • Feels like authentic rigid denim with a soft, broken-in feel

  • Due to their handmade nature, no two pairs are exactly alike

  • Denim ages better when it’s washed less; damage comes from overwashing, not overwearing.  Plus, you can save over 2,000 litres of water per year by washing once a month as opposed to once a week.
  • Close zips or buttons and turn your luxury jeans inside out before washing.
  • Use a damp cloth to spot clean and remove small stains in between washes, helping to keep your jeans looking fresh. 
  • Freeze your ethical jeans instead of washing them to kill odour-producing bacteria.
  • Steam your jeans as another energy-efficient way to kill odour-producing bacteria instead of washing.
  • Wash at 30°C maximum.
  • Prefer to hand wash? Use cold to lukewarm water, a mild detergent and leave your jeans to soak for 45 minutes. Then rinse.
  • Flatten, reshape and hang your jeans to air dry. We do not advise using a tumble dryer for our denim pieces.
  • Dry naturally in the shade or indoors, avoiding direct sunlight, as this can fade denim.

Please let us know when you are planning to collect as we are sometimes out rescuing jeans from landfill.

We want your E.L.V. DENIM jeans to last a lifetime. That’s why we offer a repairs and minor alterations service to all our customers.

Our free service includes minor waist adjustments, hem cropping and small mending.

We’re here for major alterations and repairs, too, but we do charge for these. Whether it’s a full-leg panel replacement or taking in and taking out, we can breathe new life into your beloved E.L.V. DENIM favourites and make your jeans live on.
