Description

Crafted from upcycled luxury linen, the Celia Dress is reworked into a modern wardrobe staple with a soft, effortless drape. Hand-dyed in house in deep red and burgundy tones, it has a rich depth of colour and an easy, oversized silhouette.

FIT

  • Oversized and relaxed throughout

  • Midi length with a gently boxy shape created by gathering at the front and back

  • Button placket with dark shell buttons

  • Features a pointed collar, lightly gathered sleeve head, and pockets

  • UK sizes: take your usual size, or size down for a slightly neater fit

  • Each piece is unique due to its upcycled origins and hand-finished colour, the dress pictured might vary slightly from the one you will receive.
Care

Denim

  • Denim ages better when it’s washed less; damage comes from overwashing, not overwearing. Plus, you can save over 2,000 litres of water per year by washing once a month as opposed to once a week.
  • Close zips or buttons and turn your denim dress inside out before washing.
  • Use a damp cloth to spot clean and remove small stains in between washes, helping to keep your sustainable denim dress looking fresh. 
  • Freeze your dress instead of washing it to kill odour-producing germs.
  • Steam your dress as another energy-efficient way to kill odour-producing bacteria instead of washing.
  • Wash at 30°C maximum. Prefer to hand wash? Use cold to lukewarm water, a mild detergent and leave your luxury denim dress to soak for 45 minutes. Then rinse. 
  • Flatten, reshape and hang your dress to air dry. We do not advise using a tumble dryer for our denim pieces.
  • Dry naturally in the shade or indoors, avoiding direct sunlight, as this can fade your denim dress.

Finding your perfect fit is easy – our dresses go from an XS (a size UK 8) to a XL (a size UK 16). Take a look at our size chart or our in-depth size guide for more details. But if your size is out of stock, we’ll make it to order.

Repairs & Alterations

We want your E.L.V. DENIM jeans to last a lifetime. That’s why we offer a repairs and minor alterations service to all our customers.

Our free service includes minor waist adjustments, hem cropping and small mending.

We’re here for major alterations and repairs, too, but we do charge for these. Whether it’s a full-leg panel replacement or taking in and taking out, we can breathe new life into your beloved E.L.V. DENIM favourites and make your jeans live on.
