With our signature contrast cut and the original denim seams, this drop waist skirt modernizes an everyday classic.

  • Skirt sizes range from UK 6 to 18 and 24 to 38, take your usual size

MATERIAL

  • Handcrafted from vintage jeans
  • Feels like rigid denim with a lived-in softness
  • Upcycled skirts are each one of a kind and therefore may differ slightly to what is pictured
Care
  • Denim ages better when it’s washed less; damage is caused by overwashing, not overwearing. Plus, you can save over 2,000 litres of water per year by washing once a month as opposed to once a week.
  • Close buttons and turn your sustainable denim skirt inside out before washing.
  • Use a damp cloth to spot clean and remove small stains in between washes, helping to keep your denim skirt looking fresh. 
  • Freeze your skirt instead of washing it to kill odour-producing germs.
  • Steam your skirt as another energy-efficient way to kill odour-producing bacteria instead of washing.
  • Wash at 30°C maximum. Prefer to hand wash? Use cold to lukewarm water, a mild detergent and leave your skirt to soak for 45 minutes. Then rinse. 
  • Flatten, reshape and hang your skirt to air dry. We do not advise using a tumble dryer for our denim pieces.
  • Dry naturally in the shade or indoors, avoiding direct sunlight, as this can fade denim.

repairs & alterations

We want your E.L.V. DENIM jeans to last a lifetime. That’s why we offer a repairs and minor alterations service to all our customers.

Our free service includes minor waist adjustments, hem cropping and small mending.

We’re here for major alterations and repairs, too, but we do charge for these. Whether it’s a full-leg panel replacement or taking in and taking out, we can breathe new life into your beloved E.L.V. DENIM favourites and make your jeans live on.
